Kim Alcock - Casualty Director
LLM ACII FCILA FUEDI ELAE
Kim was appointed GAB Robins Casualty Director in April 2009,
assuming responsibility for managing our casualty service
line. She is passionate about service and her role is to
ensure that we consistently meet or exceed our clients
expectations.
She joined GAB Robins in 2008 as a Casualty Major & Complex
Loss Adjuster, dealing with a wide range of liability claims.
Her specialist areas include complex injuries/fatalities and
product liability and recall cases.
Having previously worked at Municipal Mutual Insurance and McLarens
Toplis UK, Kim handled a number of high profile incidents and was
latterly a Regional Director. Kim left in 2002, taking a career
break to raise her family and study for a masters degree in law,
and undertake various charity projects.

Nigel Barham - Director, Building Services
BSc(Hons) CEng MICE ACILA
Nigel is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Loss Adjuster with a
construction management background followed by over 20 years
experience in the diagnosis and project management of building
repairs.
In his role as Director, Building Services at GAB Robins, Nigel
has responsibility for Surveying Services, SPECS, BRICS and
Subsidence Services.
He was part of the team who originally devised and launched the
project managed approach to subsidence claims handling in the early
1990s. Since then he has remained at the forefront of industry
development and has gained a reputation as an expert both at case
level, through specialist case work and at strategic level, through
involvement in industry initiatives. This includes an active
involvement in the national Subsidence Forum where he held the role
of chairman for the year April 2009-April 2010.

George Bentley - Client Services Director
George Bentley is Client Services Director heading up a team of dedicated Account Management and Business Development professionals.
George joined GAB Robins in 2000, having previously spent 26 years with Cunningham Lindsey where he was a main Board Director. He spent his early years with Cunningham Hart as a chartered adjuster and became a Regional Director for the South. Following his work in Operations, George moved to a more strategic and client facing role as Client Relationship Director and then Director, Client Development.

Robert Binning - Major & Complex Loss Director
Rob is our Major and Complex Loss Director. He began his loss adjusting career in Scotland working in Glasgow, Greenock and Oban prior to his qualifying. During that time he completed assignments in East Anglia, Jamaica and London.
Following qualification, he became director of Dublin office until 1993 when he returned to the UK to manage our Birmingham office, subsequently being appointed Regional Director for Midlands.
After a short spell with Capita and Hamilton Bond, Rob returned to GAB Robins to take the position as Major and Complex Loss Director.

Neil Daniel - Counter Fraud & Investigation Manager
ACFS
In June 2010 Neil joined GAB Robins as Counter Fraud &
Investigation Manager with responsibility for a large, dedicated
team of experienced investigators in both the UK and Europe; across
all loss adjusting product lines.
Neil was a police officer with Staffordshire Police, working
solely on Major Crime and Corporate Fraud prior to moving into the
insurance industry. Following a number of years with Legal &
General in a Fraud Manager role, he moved to Ashworth Mairs Group
where he spent six years as Head of Special Investigations,
managing a team across the UK and Europe.

Peter Farrelly - Construction & Engineering Operations

Peter is our Major and Complex Loss Operations Director. He also has operational responsibility for GAB Robins Construction and Engineering service line.
Peter joined GAB Robins in 1992 and specialises in public sector major loss and account management, including education, leisure and PFI projects. He held various management positions before taking up his current role in 2008.

Darren King - Director, Robins Claim Solutions
With over 22 years experience in claims, Darren began his insurance career in 1989, working in London for C.T. Bowring & Co in their Marine department as a technician and broker. He progressed internally, transferring to Marsh and Guy Carpenter where he managed Aviation, Construction, Property and Casualty departments in London, Witham and Norwich including 2 years in the role of Compliance Officer.
In 2009 Darren joined GAB Robins UK based in London to work within the Global Markets team responsible for many of our global corporate clients and business from the London Market.
Darren is currently Director of Robins Claim Solutions, responsible for our Claims Management and Third Party Administration (TPA) business based in Birmingham where he also continues to manage a number of our large global clients.

James Rayner - Head of Global Markets

James has worked as a loss adjuster for GAB Robins since 1990 with
experience as part of the UK Major & Complex Loss team and as
Director responsible for our London City Operations.
In 2001 he moved into a client relationship role with Client
Services and now heads up our Global Markets team. James and his
team play an integral role in managing the complex relationships
that exist on our largest accounts and London Market business; in
particular ensuring the delivery of our global network matches the
needs and expectation of the London Market, Corporate Clients,
Brokers and Captive Managers. James has been the focal point
of many of GAB Robins' largest and high profile claims in recent
years including the London 7/7 bomb attacks. James is a
Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Fellow of the
Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.

Ian Woodhead - Property Director
BSc (Hons) FRICS ACII FCILA FUEDI ELAE
Ian heads up our UK Property service line, comprising Loss
Adjusting operations across Commercial, Personal Lines and High Net
Worth. He also has operational responsibility for the
specialist services of Counter Fraud, Transit and Marine.
Ian is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, joining GAB Robins in 1982 as
an Adjuster with specialist responsibility for building and
construction claims including Contractors All Risks, Subsidence,
Professional Indemnity and Public Liability. He has handled
high profile losses in both the private and public sector as Major
Loss Team Leader.
